Exhibition :
New Freaks
In Créteil, from March 26th till April 5th, exhibition "New Freaks" as part of the new edition of the international festival EXIT.
François Chalet presents "In the head of the monster", an installation mix-medium composed of a statue in resin, two screens plasma and stereo sound system screening animated film on a musical composition by Mathias Vetter.
The public comes into the head of the monster and sees directly across his eyes…

Loulou and 4 little wolves
On the screens from March 26 th, 2003, in all France

Loulou and other wolves... is an original animation programme for the young, lasting 55 minutes, on the theme of wolves. It includes a 28 minutes film adapted from "Loulou" the famous album by Grégoire Solotareff published by l'Ecole des loisirs, and four shorts designed and directed by extremely original graphic authors : Philippe Petit-Roulet, François Chalet, Marie Caillou, Richard McGuire. Those five films are scripted by Jean-Luc Fromental and Grégoire Solotareff. Particuliarly fit for children between 4 and 10 years-old, this programme will also be thoroughly enjoyed by parents and in general by any audience fond of animated films and humorous tales.

On the occasion of the 12th Fumetto Comic International Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland, François Chalet exposes a retrospective of his work (graphic artworks, illustrations, animations). The artist also makes a projection of his pictures (VJ-ing) on friday, April 11th and participates in a debate about graphism and illustration on April 12th.

After his huge success in Switzerland during Expo 02, François Chalet is now in Venice, where is held an exhibition on graphic arts organized by Studio Camuffo. "Tourist in Venice" takes place in three stages : a VJ-ing projection directed by François Chalet on the evening of the opening party, the exhibition of his graphic production at the Fortuny museum and projection of videos inspired by his stay in Venice.

After he realised the billboard of the 6th Swiss National Exhibition (Expo 02), François Chalet directed the TV spot which invites Swiss people to celebrate their National Day (August, 1rst) on the Arteplages of Expo 02. On a dub version of the National Anthem, we follow the adventures of a little duck cruising the three lakes where the Arteplages take place.
